The Long Island Blues Relief Fund is working with individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to bring immediate hope to Long Island families that were left devastated after Hurricane Sandy and to Bring Long Islanders Home through musical activism.
No storm in recent memory has caused as much damage to our Long Island community, in terms of sheer property damage, as “Superstorm” Sandy did in 2012. However, Sandy also ignited a flame of teamwork and compassion that is clearing away the rubble, rebuilding homes, and reuniting families. In 2013, the Long Island Blues Relief Fund was formed as a philanthropic organization, which has applied for 501(c)(3) status, to help get Long Islanders back on their feet!
